Julia was a Senior Geologist and Partner in Archer Cathro until her passing on August 6, 2019. An alumni of UBC, Julia was respected and revered for her positive spirit, humility, and commitment to Industry excellence and opportunity. Founded to uphold her inspiring legacy, the Foundation is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of professionals in STEM education, especially her beloved earth sciences and geological fields. Through grants and supportive initiatives, the Foundation empowers youth in their academic pursuits and life goals. In honour of Julia’s spirit, the Foundation supports an inclusive environment where aspiring scientists from diverse backgrounds can flourish and contribute to innovation.
