Melissa Friend, MSc., GIT., is a Senior Geologist and Associate with Archer Cathro. She began her career with Archer Cathro in 2020 and has 9 years of industry experience. Melissa is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (MSc, BSc) and was part of the Mineral Deposit Research Unit during her graduate studies, where she completed a project specializing in regional tectonics, magmatism, and metallogeny in west-central Yukon. Melissa has experience working in grassroots and early-stage exploration programs, regional bedrock mapping, and metallogenic studies. She has worked on projects in the Yukon, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Nevada, and Brazil.
